Our Program

Like people, dogs require love, support, and coping mechanisms to remain well adjusted and to thrive in the real world.  However, like us, dogs are not born with the knowledge to achieve these things.  As a result, dogs require their own education unique to their own needs.  We offer group dog training classes from puppy to advanced behavior and obedience training, as well as specialty workshops.  All of our classes require graduation to the next level of classes upon approval from our instructors.  This process supports your dog’s learning threshold, and maximizes the opportunity of their progress and success.

For dog’s who begin our program with some proficiency in training, we offer an evaluation for placement in an appropriate class level. All ages and breeds are welcomed!

Please note: Our group training classes are geared towards creating a foundation for your dog’s behavior and obedience skills. Our classes do not encompass challenges in behavior that require special and personalized attention. These behaviors include and are not limited to: housebreaking, aggression, dominance, resource guarding, separation anxiety, fearfulness, and excessive barking. We offer specialized behavior modification and training through our private dog behavior and training program.

Class Training Approach & Methods

With a curriculum based in behavior and leadership building through positive reinforcement, our goal is not only to teach your dog to acquire basic skills, but to guide you to the tools and insight to build and maintain your relationship dynamic with your dog.  In this way, your dog’s behavior skills are being practiced, maintained, and reinforced through your relationship, combined with your dog’s obedience skills.  Because of this, we strive to empower YOU to train your dog far beyond your time in our classes!

We do this by beginning all of our courses with a humans only class introducing you to dog behavior and leadership principles, solidifying your mindset, goals, and acquiring your own appropriate tools to use and practice in your dog’s training process.  These principles and resources are always reinforced in each of our classes and workshops.  That way you can begin to grow and enjoy your behavior and training journey with your dog, giving your dog the opportunity to lead a happy and balanced life, and creating an unbreakable bond between you and your dog that will last a lifetime.
