Love At First Sit® Initiative

The Love At First Sit® Initiative was created with one mission in mind…

…to take the initiative to help prevent animals from being relinquished or returned to animal shelters, support the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless pets into forever homes, and help the people who love them.  We do this by amplifying the voices and movements of those that seek to advocate for people and pets.

Whether our team has boots on the ground volunteering, partnering with charities, donating, fundraising, or using our skills and resources to further these causes collectively, we seek to contribute to their ability to fulfill their mission championing for animals and people in need.  In this way, we join a movement to advocate and protect animals and people alike, helping to provide them with the opportunity to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives that they deserve.

We want to hear from you!

We are always seeking ways to lend a helping hand!  If you would like to partner with us, know a group that could use our help, or you want to join our initiative, please contact us!

Volunteer at Animal Shelters & Rescues

Santa Monica Animal Shelter

As volunteers, we provide the shelter animals with day-to-day care, enrichment, rehabilitation, and dog training to help place adoptable animals into appropriate forever homes. We also feature the shelter’s adoptables in our column “Pet of the Week” in the Santa Monica Daily Press, and provide mentoring to dog training students from Animal Behavior College to teach them to train the shelter’s dogs.

“The Santa Monica Animal Shelter is a dedicated animal shelter that continually strives to strengthen the welfare of animals by promoting humane care and treatment.” -Santa Monica animal Shelter

EZ Heart & Soul Rescue & Sanctuary

Our many volunteer efforts include marketing, publicity, fundraising, grant writing, and social media management to support the sanctuary dogs, and place the adoptable dogs into appropriate forever homes.

EZ Heart and Soul Rescue is a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary for at-risk dogs, young to mature, with special needs or undesirable behaviors that make their re-homing options a challenge.

Union Solidarity

We support unions!

We congratulate the SAG-AFTRA and WGA unions for reaching their deal in achieving fair wages, fair contracts, and protection against AI for it’s members, ending the 118 day strike.

In solidarity and Union Strong, during the strike, we offered exclusive discounts to SAG-AFTRA and WGA members.
